Hi all,

Today my partner submitted her profile. Through the CRS calculator on this website we reached 452 points.

In our official CIC account we have a score of 477 points.
I found out that the difference is 25 points and I was looking at the skills transferability scores. But according to the official CIC website the awarded points seem to be correct.

She has a master's degree, CLB9+ on all four languages and 4 year work experience. This way she got 2 X 50 points on skills transferability education and foreign work experience.

Is there possible an error in canadavisa's calculator? Or did anyone experience the same problem?

Ok little research further. On the official CIC calculator the score is also 477 points. So I assume a little error on this website's calculator.

Pretty important detail with a difference of 25 points!

canadavisa calculator is not the official calculator. Even thought this is the closest to reality calculator I have used, it is not 100% accurate.

For example for me when I first startet gathering documents months ago it calculated about 10 points more because for some reason it gave me more points for having a relative in Canada (which gives you absolutely no benefit in Express Entry).

Always trust the score that you were given CIC after EE profile (obviously)

Since CIC doesn't care about your score anywhere else, except from their own system.
