Hi, I am new here, and I apologize if I am posting this in the wrong place.
So I planned to travel outside Canada with my wife. We both have work permits, so we went to the IRCC portal, filled out the questionnaire for a Visitor Visa (I guess is the same process for an eTA), and submitted the documents. We did this in MY IRCC account, but it created two different applications. The forms I was asked for were IMM5257e, IMM5713, and IMM5257b, but her's asked for IMM 5708e, and 5257b. At the moment we thought it was because most of the information was in my application, but now I received my passport request, and she didn't. I contacted IRCC and they said that her application is not for a Visitor Visa, is for a Visitor Record. Now we need to cancel her application and Submit a new one as a visitor visa again but hers alone? Also, how can they be two different applications when we submit the documents in the same application (in the portal it asks for my application forms, then my supporting documents, then my optional documents, then her application forms, her supporting documents, and her optional documents)?
