Difference of name.

Hello guys my wife is the main applicant and i am the co-applicant and we got pt notification from Ontario recently. I am in the process of gathering documents when i noticed a big problem in my documents. My problem is my wife hasn't changed her name on her passport after marriage. She has created the ee profile with her maiden name. My name as it appears on the birth certificate and passport is Suneesh Patel. Where as on my marriage certificate it appears as Sunish Patel. I will need to submit the marriage certificate to prove our marriage since my wife hasn't changed her name on her passport , but since my name differs on the passport and marriage certificate what should i do ? Please help me guys i am really worried now. Can an affidavit work in this case ?

ask marriage office (marriage registrar in india) to change it as this is a mistake and give your education transcript and birth certificate as proof to them.


or else sign a affidavit that both persons are same.

Thanks for the quick reply bro . I will first try to get the name changed on the certificate if that doesn't work will make an affidavit.

yes try first with them... as this can be problematic at any other stage too....
