Difference in mothers name

Hi

My name in my degree certificates has my name ending with my mothers name which is a mumbai university format as Gita. However my passport has my mothers name as Geeta, as per my birth certificate.I have received an ITA. What should I do ? Will a notarized affidavit suffice

You can actually attach an original document from your mother to show - the proper spelling.
