Hi All,

What is the difference between Temporary Resident Visa and work permit.

Should i apply for both if i need to work and stay in canada ?

What country are you from?

If you are not from a visa exempt country...you will be needing to apply for a TRV. You have to have a valid status when you come in Canada.

The application for the TRV and Work Permit will be at the same time....

When your visa is issued... it will be stamped in your passport and then

Upon entering Canada, that is the time they will print your work permit!

There is A FORM FOR A TRV :) it is always included when you apply for a work permit
