Hi all,
I am trying to get my documents for POF. I have certain amount deposited into my bank account by my father.
So for that I need to submit a Gift Deed affidavit and I know that. But I hear that I also should submit a SELF DECLARATION affidavit.

What's the exact difference between SELF DECLARATION and GIFT DEED affidavit ? Is it necessary to submit both or Gift Deed is enough ?
Please help.

Thanks

Hello Aditya, could you please share gift deed format if available and is there any procedure to complete this because I am in also same situation like you.

Please help

Basically since you've had those funds for over 6 months you do not need a gift deed letter.

Cheers :)

hi,
if i understand correctly, in India we have to get the gift deed made on 100 rupee stamp paper right?

Thanks for your answer guys.
