Difference between International Graduate Category and Post Graduate Worker Catefory undee AINP

I do fall under both categories in terms of being a graduate under the stated graduate collefe and holds PGWP. However, what confuses me is the difference btween the two which is employer driven and one is self driven.
Is this the only difference? and if so which category is better? Why do two different catefory exist while its so similar?
