TRV is temperory resident visa, a visa is used to entry the country. study permit is ur legal status in canada once u have entered the country. study permit is ur legal permit to stay in canada as a student ......

hello mr khan. a TRV allows a general visitor access to a point of entry in canada while a study permit gives a student permission to enroll in an educational institution and legally reside in canada for a course of study. therefore an international student in some cases will need both depending on canada's immigration policies with various countries.
