Hi Everyone,
I'm sponsoring my common-law partner in Canada, our application was received on October 3rd 2017 and we've had some correspondence through the online portal.
My partner received her Open Work Permit in January 2018 and they requested a medical in April, which was updated in the portal as passed. On August 31st she got a letter stating she met the eligibility requires for Permanent Residence and she can now apply for a study permit and work permit if she hasn't done so already.
The problem is, I haven't received any correspondence stating that they have approved me as a sponsor. I logged into ECAS using my UCI and saw that under "Sponsorship Application Status" says Decision Made and "Permanent Residence Application Status" says In Process. There are no details of correspondence being sent from them in ECAS either.
Can someone shed some light on this?
Note: I'm a Canadian citizen by birth if that's worth anything.
Thank you
