Hello, I have submitted my application in dec. 2014 but didnt get any news on that till date. I heard they are returning back all the applications. Is it true?

I would suggest to call CIC call centre to get the update. Unfortunateky you dont have UCI or application number so I doubt you will get any reply of an email.
