Have you received ITA?
If yes , what is your score vs the cut-off score?

So if you deduct 5
You would be at 484 which was the cut-off

If that is the case then they will reject.
It would be more nuanced than that, technically if their time of submission was before the cutoff date then their new 484 is still above the cutoff score which should be fine

Submission?

On the date of ITA your score should be above the cut-off.

If the cut-off was 484 then they needed atleast 485.

If their score was 484 then the tie breaker rule should apply.

This is my understanding of their case so far.

We all want to help them.

Please clarify if you differ from what i said.

Thanks

Yeah that’s what I was saying too, as their score is 484 so the tiebreaker rule applies, if they submitted their profile before the cutoff date they should be fine

CRS score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 486

Tie-breaking rule: July 19, 2022 11:05:24 UTC

This was the last draw

Then the application will most likely be rejected because of the tie breaking rule. I believe the issue was with your blanket statement saying the application would have been rejected just because the score was 484. @cz999 alluded to the nuance of the tie break, after which you later added more details to your initial comment. Everyone wants to help, but to help, you have to give clear and FULL information.
