Did you live together on December 31, 2023?

Hi,

I am filing my taxes and I am confused about this question. I am a Canadian PR and my wife is in another country as she doesn't have a status yet in Canada. I went back home to my country in Dec 2023 and came back on Jan 2024. So I was living with her in my Home country in Dec 31st 2023. Do I need to answer yes to this question or this question asks for if I was living with my spouse in Canada on Dec 31st. Any help would be appreciated.

Living and visiting are two different things. In my opinion you were visiting, not cohabitating
