They were 31 before?!? That's just not even ethical, frankly speaking.

woow how can they decrease from 31 to 22 in 4 months...it looks that they changed their way and it works....other embassies should follow

congrats for ur interview and best of luck!!

Thanks. :)

So, our interview went well. My husband got his visa right away. So, our entire application took less than 5 months in all. So Accra has DEFINITELY improved; they used to be known for taking forever. I wouldnt go by the official timelines on the CIC website cos its obviously not updated.
And it isnt just me, I have friends who recently got their visa thru Accra within fairly decent timelines too.

Yes, Accra had some depressing timelines. And high levels of rejections.

Beijing timeline is as usual, 4 months 8) ;) :-*

Should there be a processing time update at the end of October?? It's every 3 months, correct?

october 26 is the next time when the update is to happen

Yep, every three months and based on the last 12 months of casework, so the July 26 update was based on how long it took to process 80 percent of all cases between July 1, 2010, and June 30, 2011. Three months after July 26 would make it October 26.

yes for Berlin it came down from 13months to 9 months.....sadly for my husband and I we have been going through this process with Berlin for almost 19months because of lost and misplaced medicals.....long story...But im glad that it has decreased for others and they wont have to endure the long pain we went through.

?!!! Seriously? :o And they didn't just have you redo them?
This is the first case I've read of a rather lengthy procedure through Berlin. Looks like you have no luck with them, I'm sorry to hear that! :(
