I recently submitted my express entry application and received a lower score than I expected. I compared it to my friend's points (who is now a PR) that has the same experience as me (high school diploma, post-secondary degree in Canada, worked for 1 full year) But, she received 38 points on her skill transferability - education and I only received 26. She applied for her PR in 2017, was there a change in points appointed?
My second question is, once I've been invited to apply (either through Express Entry or Spousal, hopefully), can I travel outside of Canada while my application is getting processed? I am currently on a post work grad permit till Jan 2021. I'm from Singapore.
