Did not receive one passport out of 3

Hi All,

My company applied my Intra Company Transfer permit and it got approved last week, I got passport submit request and I submitted mine, my wife's and my son's passports at one of the VFS locations in India, I received mine and my wife's passports back today with visa stamped, however I did not receive my son's passport, status on VFS site says still processing at the consulate, anybody faced this issue before?

Jsk, can you advise how long the process of getting an ict permit took end to end? How long was it issued for?

Also were you asked for medicals? Did you submit them up front?

Hi,

It took full 3 months for processing, I(My Company's immigration team, online) have applied on 26th Jan 2016, and Passports are requested on 18th April 2016.

I submitted the passports next day and I got passports back in 7 days.

ICT TRV requested for one year and we got it for one year.

We did not submit any medicals upfront and they did not ask us for any Medicals, may be because ICT.

Please let me know if you would like to know any other details.

Jsk, thank you very much for your response. Very informative. A small clarification - what is the max duration that one can request for? So they issue the work permit and the visa together or are they separate applications? Sorry about my lack of knowledge but am a newbie here.

Also, how is the work permit issued? Do they stamp it or you have to claim it at the POE as i have read around somewhere in these forums? where in canada are you headed to?

Hi,

I am not sure of the limit, may be 3 years at a time, experts can correct me if I am wrong.

I only got Visa stamped and I need to collect the Work Permit at the POE, I am planning to start late May or early June, I am going to Toronto.
