Did anyone applied for citizenship after change of name?

Hi

I want to change my first name before applying citizenship. I am an canadian PR holder. I would like to get my name change certificate from my province and then change all canadian ids and then apply for citizenship. Does change of name causes citizenship application delayed or complicated?
Kindly share me the experience/delays you faced or best way to do.

You are thinking too much. Relax and take it easy. There is normally no delay unless CIC finds similar name or date of birth and request you fingerprints or do some additional background/security checks to verify your identity.

As per the link, it only applies when person is requesting to change the name while the citizenship application is in processed

If the name has been changed before applying for citizenship and the person applies for citizenship with the new name, it would be a routine application.
