Still showing 17 April

Not a good sign for possible score decreases. Possibly means they are waiting for new high scoring candidates to enter the pool.

Sometimes, the updates on the Ministerial Instructions page are not listed immediately as the site is cached across many servers. So I wanted to check if anyone received their ITAs.

May be, in the last 2 draws alone, there were 1640 new applicants in 2 weeks. Not sure how long they would take to reach 429 which is my score. Hope they do it by July as I would again lose points after my birthday..

Its true, as well as some people having problem logging into EE system. Let's check again tomorrow.

Might be CIC is waiting for the Candidates with higher points than 453. CIC should change its invitation structure. They should keep quota's for specific jobs as required and needed to satisfy labour market needs.

So many candidates through out the world has got more than 400 points and are from management fields. But these types of professionals are not needed in Canada, because English people are very good in management. So getting ITA's to such professionals will not solve labour shortages. I am Database Administrator having 12 years of experience but due to my 37 years of age and having 7 band in IELTS, i am able to occupy 318 points only. But this job is in high demand.

I agree with you abhii. And I am in somewhat similar situation as you are.
NOC 2171, IELTS 7, Age 37, but only 6 yrs of work ex and EE score of 334!

i think they would like to maintain the minimum score to 450 and there are only few applicants over the past week that go over that which do not have an ITA yet. so most likely, the ITA score will still be more or less on this mark come friday. so frustrating.

If this job is in high demand, and there are not enough Canadians to fill the open jobs, getting an LMIA should not be a problem. Good luck!
