My wife and I got the ITA in the last month and did our medical in the last week. I was diagnosed with Crohn;s in 2014, had an operation and now under remission for 4 yrs. I am on the maintenance doses of Deflazacort (6 mg / day) and Sulfasalazine (1000 mg / day), which cost nearly 80 CAD per month in Canada. Recently, I am doing my post-doc in Germany, while having a healthy normal life. The panel physician was asking many questions about my current status with Crohn's and also suggested to get a back-up report from my specialist, which will state the current status of my disease. Although I developed my disease while doing PhD in Canada, I am little paranoid about how IRCC will react on my medical exam. I did not hear anything from them till now. Could you give any information on the possible cases and their way-outs?
