Detroit timeline to stamp PR visa and return of passports

Yes, address is correct - I went there for getting my passport stamped earlier this month....

I provided our passports around 8:35AM in the consulate and they told me to collect at 11:30AM.

so now i just have to send them 2 passport photo, a 490 CAD money order, passport and i am done until i received CoPP, hope i can get it before my trip so i can just landed when i come back from my trip at the airport.

You will have to land. You can do that at a local CIC office (by appointment), at the border, or travel and do the landing at the airport when you get back to canada. When you land, CBSA officers will tell you that you are not allowed to travel for 90 days (or until you receive your PR card) but you can request for them to expadite it If its an emergency case, the form can be found on the cic website. Also, you could travel without the PR card but you need to apply for a visa in coming back to Canada.

Thank you Chamybel but this is still confusing a little bit. Basically when I get my passport back I have to book an appointment with the local CIC office and land . Then I have to wait for the PR card,if I have the PR card I can simply travel overseas,right? if not I have to apply for a re-entry visa? what about the visa they issue on the passport already,whats the use of it?

If you have valid US visa, you can submit the passport in person at Canadian Consulate General in Detroit, it will be returned to you in the same day.

I am new here i sent my passport to detroit for stamping on the 15th january and its 18th today and the tracking shows that the item has been sent to customs in thr destination country.....is it normal im getting worried now...its already 4 days since the PP has been sent...it was thr canadapost xpresspost US....please reply me
