Detroit timeline to stamp PR visa and return of passports

Sent my passport yesterday to Detroit. It should be reaching there by this coming Friday. I am hoping to hear from them by mid-jan because of Christmas break.

Also, quick question ... I did enclose a prepaid xpresspot envelope however it was of a smaller size ... I assume it shouldnt be an issue. Any thoughts regarding that?

Same here, I enclosed a smaller expresspost as well. All you should be getting back is the passport, COPR and they might return a photograph - from what I have heard. It should take 2 weeks from the time the passport reached Detroit!

Hey guys ... your opinion required.

I have mentioned "dark brown" as my eye colour as per the visa issuance requirements. However, I just realized that I had mentioned "Black" as my eye colour in my initial application submission (main form IMM0008).

Do you guys think it would be a issue for me? If yes, any suggestions?

Got the passport back, my timeline:

Mailed to Detroit: Dec 2nd

Mail received: Dec 7th

Returning mail activated: Dec 17th

Mail received by me: Dec 20th

My Xpresspost tracking number went live last night, isn't it a little too early??? They just received it on Monday dec 17... My ECAS still is in process.. It says it should be delivered today.. Im a bit worried why it was really quick..

I received my passport from Detroit today sent it on dec 12. Tracker went live just last night and got it today, i was impressed.

I sent my one 12th too. Unfortunately Ive been shift working and been sleeping during the day. I heard a knock on my door today but I was too sleepy dozed to get up on time. No sticky thing on my door from Mr. Post man.
I forgot to rip my return tracking number so I cant tell online. Do they usually attempt a second time before leaving a sticky? Or should I assume it was a salesman instead.

My post kinda sounds funny lol

they usually come back the second time and if youre not around then they will leave you a sticky. also, if you have you receipt from when you mailed it,i think it should also say it there.
