where do you guys located? I heard that if you live close to Detroit they process in a quick time.

Reached Detroit: June 04
Received PP back: July 03
Landed: July 06

Passport received by M. Moore : June 27
Status changed from MR to DM : Today July 23
Hopefully by this week tracking number will be active (fingers crossed)...

Landing fees paid with the medicals in April 2012
PP request on May 21st: Buffalo, NY
Another PP request on June 11th: Detroit
PPs submitted July 21st with a self addressed xpresspost envelope
Asked for landing fees again on August 13th, attorney clarified same day that all was paid well over 2 months back!
Today August 21st: waiting ...

Had you applied for FSW before applying for CEC? Can you tell me if your FSW and CEC file numbers were the same? Also, did ecas show the status of both the applications? Have you withdrawn the FSW application? Thanks !

i applied for FSW on jan 2011 and CEC i applied in Feb 2012.
Both file numbers are different.The ecas shows status of both application.For now CEC shows DM and for FSW it is RBVOI
I am waiting for the passports to be received from detroit and will then withdraw the FSW application.

No..cant withdraw my FSW app as yet...have applied for CEC June 2012..so have to wait for CEC to be processed...hopefully the CEC process will be faster..

Still in process Toronto123 although I have seen them update once in 2 months and even their updates are rather vague. Our attorney/case manager is definite that all is resolved and it's just a matter of time. I am praying that they dispatched the stamped passports to Windsor and they are in transit to us!

P.S.: I did email them yesterday to check in but they claim it may take 28 days for a reply!
I have a feeling they may arrive any day now ...

After almost 10 years !!!! I finally got it !!!

I got it today!!

It stated that it was issued on August 8, but it was sent out from ON n August 21.

And, I received it on August 22 with Xpresspost.

Now, planning to go do my landing on the upcoming long weekend.

Hi, im kinda new here and would like to ask anyone about this:
We sent our pp's to detroit last july 25 and have not heard from them.
As i was reviewing our case, i found out that we have overlooked something which is: enclosing a return envelope or an prepaid expresspost. We enclosed a UPS return envelope instead! Status shows decision made but we don't have our passporta yet. Does this mean we have to send a return envelope to detroit or they will use what we have enclosed?
Please advise.

I was just clarifying cause i saw in the detroit site that the consulate will not return documents thru commercial courier under any circumstance. So they have returned passprts thru ups already?
