Detroit Timeline for Stamping visa after PPR

I sent my pp directly to Detroit ...y we hv to send Windsor first? I m in CANADA right now n in my ppr they said send to Detroit so I sent directly to Detroit ... I did any mistake?? Pls rep

As far as I can tell from the link in the passport request. You can send to either Detroit or Windsor. It should make little difference which. But if you want to use a commercial courrier and have tracking information then it has to be Detroit

If you live in Canada, you may send documents and passports by mail, (not by commercial courier) to our mailbox in Windsor, ON Canada. The Post Office in Windsor will not accept commercial courier deliveries.

Windsor Address removed

If you live in Canada you may send documents and passports by mail or commercial courier to our address in Detroit. Courier packages must only be sent to the Detroit, MI address.

Got Passport Request Today. Great ! Celebrations ! etc.

However approximate timetable for next few weeks
1) Can't get photos etc. till Thu 13th
2) Send to detroit Xpresspost - Arrives Tue 17th
3) Processes
4) ReturnsXpresspost week of 24th to 31st Dec

There will be nobody at office to sign for package, Or appartment block.
Any tips on making sure important documents are not lost during holiday period.

Is there a reason why no one can sign for it? I think, as with most postal services, they will provide you a notice of attempt to deliver. You can go to the appropriate post office to pick up your package. I think they will attempt three times and then return.

Where i sent my stuff to windsor with PREpaid express post return envelope, nobody needed to sign at my place the day it came back. it was just in my mailbox. (?)

I dont expect anything till January atleast. It takes 3 weeks in total and that is excluding the holidays!
