Detroit Timeline for Stamping visa after PPR

Med's Request: 24-04-2012
Med's Done....: 02-05-2012. Ecas: "in process" since 7th May. and We have received your Medical.
Passport Req..: 18 September 2012
Passport sent..: 20 September 2012
VISA ISSUED...: 01-10-2012
LANDED..........: Waiting (02-11-2012)

Today (03-10-2012) I got my Pssport and COPR Paper with Visa Stamped.

How Many months did they give you to activate your PR? Was it until the expiry Date of your permit?

The expiry was on it till March. That's when my medical expires.
 
well, I sent a case specific enquiry last Friday (September 28) but they have not replied. How long do they take to reply?

I think the PPR request asked for the documents to be sent within 30 days because the visa issuance is not to be delayed. So technically if it has been over 30 days since you sent the documents then you should send a case specific enquiry.

I have not received my passport yet, I lost my tracking number, my medical expired...:-(

You should file a case specific enquiry. I received mine yesterday, there are two copies of COPR. I do my landing after work tomorrow.

I'm not sure. You could try again or call to find out. Also, if you sent the RoPF with your PP you can call your bank to determine whether they have actually cashed your bank draft (or whatever you sent them) of the $490. This may confirm if there is activity on your file.

I sent the money a long time ago when I applied.

you sent your passport to windsor as i can see, did you send the original, or copies? if copies, only the identification part, or all pages?

Congrats to your PPR! I sent a copy of all the marked pages directly to Detroit. Sending it to Windsor is actually the same and costs less. But either way takes around 2 weeks to get the CoPRs back. They only took one photo and stick it on one of the CoPR, and returned the rest of stuff back.

Congrats again and Alles gute! ( I learned some German when I was on exchange in Leipzig 3 years ago :P)
