26years old wife from Togo. My hubby's back in canada.
I met him when I was a student there, then I left to see my family. Ignorance and lack of organization made me skip the renewal of my docs before leaving (ended on sept 2012, i left on aug2012) . I wanted to return as a student but as i had failed most courses, due to personnal problems, i couldn't get renewal from outside (i had a physically and psycholigically violent boyfriend in Canada. I suffered a lot but never reported to the police because I thought foreigners had no chance with justice outside).
Tried a visitor visa on November 2012 but was denied. I waited for 6 months before reapplying for student. During that time my husband (then we were still dating from outside) visited me. On May 2013 I reapplyed for study permit. Denied!! I was shocked and ready to lose my love, anyway Canada is expensive and there are many girls for him out there. He refused to give up on us... wow!! We decided to wait for an opptunity for him to come and by the end of the year he asked my hand when he visited me again .. But he couldn't move with me as he has a kid over there. Even though he has custody the mother has her rights. Anyway we decided to stay together, looking for ways and means for us to live together. A year after he visited me again for our first anniversary. Life can be harsh...Only i can see him once a year... As i want to go there on my own (so he won't have to sponsor me), we asked for the notes to see why i had been denied student visa on 2013. A f... mistake!!! The agent thinks that in 2012 I overstayed. Just because as i have double citizenship, i had used my other passeport... As I submitted the study permit in Togo I've used that county's passeport and as the other one was back on the other country and anyways already renewed, I'd only had submitted travel list. They didn't even bother to read it. As there was no proof in the togoleese passeport, they've assumed that I overstayed!!!! Stupid conclusion that made me waste 2years and kept me seperated from my love. During that time I haven't studied nor worked as I only have french seconday hischool degree and no other skills. I lived at home taking care of my father. I'm depressed when I see that I'd have to wait for 2more years(Accra tome) before being able to live with my babe alone there with his kid on fulltime.
Could you tell me what are our chances to:
1) me getting a visitor visa to apply inland, as i've no job but a lot of lands (on my name and on my parents', and money for my stay. That way at least we would live together and I could work there;
2) starting outland app and after the first approval, me trying to get visitor visa (and I know it's difficult too)
Can't apply for student cause not enough money.
