Dear friends, why can advice in this situation?
My husband was born in a country A, and he has birth certificate from this country. His family left A and came to live in country B, when he was very young. But he is the citizen of a country B (and never been A citizen). When he received his first passport, they wrote in the passport he was born in a country C, by mistake! But he never paid attention to this, and every new passport, they did not ask any birth certificate, and just transfer the same information to new passport.
Now in all his documents, like education certificates, ID, etc... stated that he was born in C, except the birth certificate!
Now, when we started immigration process to Canada, this discrepancy appear, and we don't know what to do. To try to change his passport, and other documents.... it's very very long story!
We have to do either:
1. To submit the documents as it is, and attach letter, explaining this discrepancy. or
2. Do not submit the birth certificate, explaining that it's lost ( We are not ok with this way... but what to do?)
3. To try to change all documents, where is mistake, this will cost us a huge amount of time and money...
We are in despair... Please advice.
