There are applicants from Bangladesh and Middle East who got their visa after one year ! At least CIC does not do this to applicants from India. So look at the positive side of this.

There are hundreds of different things to do in life than to just keep checking status on VAC, GCKey or your email account.

Go out with your friends and celebrate Independence day. Eat out, do some shopping, watch movies and visit martyrs family. Bake some cake and take it to orphanage. Go out and talk to people. Crack some jokes on your friend and few on yourself.

After all it is just a study visa and not end of life. There are thousands of better things in life than a visa on passport.
