As long as if you dont have criminal history and if you do have points to qualify, i dont think would be a problum.

as long as you have a 1 year continuous LEGAL stay in the US and no criminial record, you can apply a PR in Canada. Also, you must be qualified from the 38 job published by CIC.

If a person was deported because of criminality issue, then there is little to no chance. If a person was deported because of overstay or working without permit and no criminality issue, then yes you can apply if you are on the list.

Yes it will show up as they must took your fingerprints, however you can explain and in FBI report it will say as well that why you was arrested. If it is related to crime, it will come on FBI report, if the deportation is related to overstay then the explanation to that will come up as well. But you need to explain this to CIC as well in advance and not when they discover.

Its not a crime since you had to make a living. You just need to tell CIC when you apply and yes you can get PR in Canada. Good Luck

IF u overstay in US or doing job without work visa ..it's not a crime but expalin everything when u apply for PR for canada.

i am sure it doesn't affect your PR file so do not worry.

Yeah, if you were deported from anywhere, they might not like to give you a temp visa because of risk of you overstaying or working without a permit in Canada too. For immigration however, you are allowed to stay and work so there's no risk.

It depends on your background checks whether you qualify for canadian immigration or not.
