Dependent TRV for New born(Outside Canada) - India NDVO

Hi,

We are Canadian PR stuck in India due to COVID and blessed with baby girl in Oct 2020. Now we want to accompany our daughter to Canada for which we have filed TRV for my new born on 16th Feb 2021 and didn't get any update yet. Anyone in the similar situation please do let me know.

Due to the current situation in India you will likely not hear about whether the TRV was approved for a while. You seem to have left Canada in 2018 so are quite close to not meeting your RO.

If you landed in March 2018 and returned to India in August 2018 you would need to return by August 2021. The date on your PR card is not relevant to your RO requirements. It is 730 days in the 5 years from your landing date.
