Can anybody provide any information as to how much time does it take to apply for Dependent spousal application for residency?

Your question isn't very clear. Are you asking how long it takes to sponsor a spouse through Family Class Sponsorship? If so, then it depends on the method of sponsorship and applicant's country of origin. It take take a few months to well over a year.

Hi,

Yes, that is what I meant. I had applied under CEC under the old process and my country of origin is India. Now, I will be applying for my spouse under Family Class Sponsorship.

Thanks

Around a year in that case. Note that since you are a PR you must be living in Canada at the time you submit the application and must continue living in Canada while the application is processed. You can take a few short trips outside of Canada - but make sure you keep them to 2-3 weeks.

Just a bit curios to know if anybody has applied under the same process and have got the spousal PR done in less than 12 months.
