yes i have a work permit and noc b job. i applied before for his sowp they rejected. i gave salary slips employment letters bank proof everything. i have not applied for PR yet.i am not sure waht to do stuck at 460 and waiting for the ITA.

I have applied for him twice. they rejected that he will not leave the country we showed property papers etc.. so was asking
1. what should i do? apply again for visitor or sowp?
2. wait till its .. once i apply PR can i apply for sowp? what are the chances then?
I would request canuck_in_uk or some other senior member to answer this.

As for my inputs:
That is strange. If you have shown his property papers etc to show strong ties to your home country, then I thought they don't reject. Getting a sowp would have been the best. Sorry to hear that it got rejected.

1. For visitor visa also they check the same, strong ties to home country etc. So if applying for sowp again, then you need to provide more or something different than what you did last time.
Applying sowp again would be a good option. If he gets the sowp then he can directly come over and then maybe you both can apply for PR together with you as the primary applicant. Just find out what different you have to do during sowp application.
2. Not sure, but I feel this would get more complicated. Moreover, once you get your PR, he cannot get a sowp from outside Canada.
After you get your PR, if he wants to get sowp then he will have to come to Canada on visitor or some other temporary visa and apply for PR and SOWP and this sowp can take up to 4 months.

As for my update no the original post:
I obtained my visitor visa in July end. I was afraid of this the most, as I did not even have a property in my name. Just a job for which I provided pay slips etc and yes I provided more proof of our relationship before marriage, like photos, screenshots of our chats and video call logs from facebook and whatsapp. So maybe that helped. This would be of more help if applying for any visa and the spouse in Canada has a PR.

I came to Canada in the beginning of September, submitted my spousal sponsorship PR application and Open work permit along with it around 1 month after coming here. Now waiting for the confirmation of receipt, which might take around 1 month from the date of application submission.

I takes around 4 months to get open work permit in this case, on the contrary to sowp if spouse has work permit and not PR, and in that case I heard it takes less than a month.

Don't apply for anything else for him. Request GCMS notes to see the detailed reasons for the refusals.

he showed his job slips. everything i asked for GCMS notes. they just mentioned that he did not satisfy that he will leave at the end of the stay. i gave pictures of before marriage as well. they rejected. then i reapplied SOWP they rejected it again. i am not sure why are they doing it. the first time i applied through a lawyer. not sure what to do.

I thought i have 460 points and will apply for PR after sep but now the CRS is too high
