Hi

We received our PR (Self, My Wife, Elder son) in Feb 2012. Whilst we received our Visa she was pregnant we thought of travelling after her delivery. Now we are blessed with a Son. We applied for his Visa as well..it has been 4 month but there is no iformation on the same from VISA office. Consulate in Delhi has all our documents(COPR, PAssports). How much time do they take to send Visa for newly born kid.

Did you tell your visa office that your wife is pregnant while your application is in progress (before medical)? If you did, then they will delay your application until your wife delivered and then add the new baby. If however, your wife delivered the baby after your visas are issued and before your landing then you may want to hire a lawyer to plaid your case.

I know for sure in my case, they told me that if my wife is pregnant I need to land in Canada before my wife delivered otherwise I may be requested to submit a brand new (FSW) application and start the process allover again.
