dependent children

Hi Folks,

On form IMM0008, where it asks "how many family members are included in this application for permanent residence" do I need to include my 2 chilren who live with my ex wife since they are not accompanying me?

I have 2 other childrenj with my present wife who will be accompanying us. So what number should I put?

You will have to mention only those children who will accompany with you. as u said 2 from your present wife.

Write the total number of family members included in your application. This includes yourself and any Family members regardless of whether they are accompanying you to Canada or not. This number does not include de facto dependants.

Thanks, I was confused about the defacto dependents. Its much clearer now
