Normally 6-8 months but likely closer to 10 months right now.

No I haven’t received AOR as yet. Application was submitted to NS in October 2020.

I applied for my child Sponsorship living in UK.


Application Sent: 10 Feb 2020
AOR: 6th MARCH 2020
Sponsor Eligibility: 10 OCT 2020
Medical Request: 18 September 2020
Medical Recieved: 28 September 2020 (Medical Passed)
Communication Letter: 20 January 2021 ( Letter says " This message is being sent to confirm that the application for PR for your relative has been forwarded to the visa office in London for further processing" )

Hello! Is there a forum that tracks Dependent Child sponsorship timeline? I just sent my application on Feb. 16th and it was delivered on Feb. 16th. Still waiting for AOR.

AOR via email received on Oct 12, 2022 ( applications received in Sydney NS August 5, 2022) but only for one of two children being sponsored. Is this normal to have separate AORs for siblings whose applications were mailed in one package (envelope?)

Yes, they would have separate AORs since they are two separate applications.

I'm a little worried maybe it's nothing but I'm an inland applicant and currently in Canada my dependent who was included in the same PR application lives outside Canada. I got my COPR yesterday and portal invite to confirm my PR but I've received nothing in regard to the dependent after her medicals were updated as completed, I replied to their email yesterday and stated my accompanying dependent is outside Canada. Should I be expecting different COPR and PPR for the dependent?

Yes, the dependent abroad will need to get a passport request (to receive visa and/or copr). You'll probably need to contact IRCC to figure this out.

Think you mean sponsor approval not sponsorship approval.
