Hey Everyone,

I just notice that on my daughter's Application Status Tracker.

There is now a COPR # and Expire that, what that means?

That means you should be getting your PPR sooner. You are in the final stage.
what is your application timeline if you don’t mind?

Oh you know I’ve been thinking of you too because we have similar timeline. You are just a little ahead. Hoping to hear your good news shortly as well as mine.
Hey, here is my timeline!

My timeline:
1.) Application submitted: Aug 16, 2023
2.) AOR received: Aug 17, 2023
3.) Application returned: Set 20, 2023
4.) Application re-submitted: Set 20, 2023
5.) Sponsor Eligibility Approval: Nov 24, 2023
6.) Medical Examination requested : Jan 18, 2024
7.) Medical Examination updated to Completed: Jan 22, 2024
7.) COPR number and expire date update: Jan 25, 2024

My daughter is already in Canada, she landed here with ETA, her case is being processing in Mexico. Not sure what will happen now!

When she landed here, the immigration officer gave us a visa record up to her passport expire date May 14, 2023.

So hopefully things will be sorted out before that and I will not need to extend her visitor visa.

Thx for your support!

The file will be turned over to an office in Ontario (Etobicoke, I believe) which will complete the process.

Guys, here is my timeline:

1. Application submitted: Late October, 2023
2. AOR Received: Mid December, 2023
3. Sponsor eligibility approval: Late December, 2023

I have been waiting for the rest of the process for almost two months now. My baby is <1year old. So not sure, whether he requires to go through a medical or other stuff. So no idea why the delay :( I also applied for a TRV on early November, 2023. Except for the AOR, did not hear anything else from them either. No idea what's holding!

To check the status of the sponsorship application, as the sponsor, I created an account using my information (UCI and Application Number and all). i have been seeing many ghost updates for the past two months. Sometimes every other day or at least once a week. But no actual status changes since late December message informing of the Sponsorship eligibility. So no idea what's going behind the curtain. Too nervous that something issue might be there?

appreciate any thoughts and suggestions.

Your baby will need medical … you just gotta wait for them to ask for it.

Hello, I submitted my application in September 2023 and only receive some news in February. : I have no idea why my case is so slow. Seeing the timeline from others here, it should have been way faster. Is tjat a bad sign?

2nd: The status says IRCC sent me a message with the actions I should take but there is nothing on my e-mail (I checked in all folders, spam, etc). The attachment is also not available anywhere in the status website. I guess I was supposed to receive an e-mail but I didn’t.

What should I do in this case?

What is your background? For example citizenship of child and family can lead to longer wait times.

2. When did you get the message that you have been sent an email. There is often a time delay between the message appears in the portal and when you get the message of up to a week. I would wait until the end of this week and see if you receive the letter and if you still haven’t received a letter 7+ days after you received the notice then I would start pursuing more investigation.
