Hi Anant,

  1. I have an another question, when you submit sponsorship for your child and you wife is living in India accompanying your child, do you have your wife co-signed your application in IMM 1344 ?
  2. If you are not having her co-signed in IMM 1344, do you submit IMM 5604 form notarized or just provided Letter of explanation ?
I have submitted only 1344e, which i have signed the application. only 1344e form is fine, no need for IMM5604. Please let me know if you need any other information.

Hi Anant,

Thanks for the info.

I did not see signature box in IMM 1283 for the sponsor to sign. Did you sign this form or you uploaded directly in the portal or you provide any explanation ?

Hello Everyone, can someone please help me with the process to apply child sponshorship.

Me and my wife are Permanent Residents, Child is born in India. I will be coming alone to Canada to apply.

Do I need to create the PR Portal account under child name or my name?

Hi All,
We are PR holders living in Canada since a month.

We had our child in US and has US passport. Can someone provide the link or application number required for applying a PR for my child ?

I started applying for IM1344 in which it is asking my medicals, PCC, 10 years addresses same things what i have used for my pr application. Is this the right one ?

Thank you.

I am applying to sponser my child from India born in India 1 year ago.
I am in canada. While creating account for my child
I will sign on behalf of my child and choose applying for pr like I should fill the info as my child is filling ?
And what about declaration of co signer as my spouse is in India with the child ?
As currently I am jobless?
job is mandatory for sponsoring the child? Or I can apply and show the deposit of my account a sproof to support the child and meanwhile I will get job?

If you are PR, you can sponsor (without employment) both your wife and child for immigration. Read the sticky thread above for details.

Btw, do you meet your PR residency obligation.

Too rusty to give you any answer. I suggest you creating a new thread to ask your questions.

This is basically about what language IRCC will communicate with you in (as the rep for the applicant)
