I got an email for the address info and I had to reply to the email with the details, it was not on the portal.

Hi All,

I had sponsored my daughter for PR. She is in Canada and I did an inland application. I received the email to submit her address in Canada as well as the photo on June 13, 2023. The address and photo is in-review with IRCC for the past month. Looking at other timelines, the eCOPR is available within a few days. Just wanted to check is there anything I can do to understand why there is a delay.

Timelines:

Jul 30, 2022 - submitted application
Nov 2022 - Received email saying information missing.
Nov 13, 2022 - submitted application with info required.
Jan 26 - Sponsor approval email
Jan 27 - Medical request
Jan 30 - Medical submitted
Jun 13 - request for information and address in canada
Jun 13 - photo uploaded

Hi,

I had sponsored my daughter for PR. She is in outside Canada when i submitted the application and she came to Canada in visitor visa and changed to inland application.

Timelines:

May 12, 2022 - submitted application
Nov 11, 2022 - Received email saying information missing.
Nov 15, 2022 - Submitted an application with info required.
Nov 28, 2022 - Sponsor approval email
Feb 22, 2023 - Medical request
Mar 06, 2023 - Medical submitted
Mar 28, 2023 - Medical passed

After that there is no update on my application. I have called IRCC they said its still in progress as per the Application status tracker portal. Please let me know if anyone in same boat.

Hi Anand, why it is required, this form needs to be filled only if the dependent child has dependent child of their own right. If it is only the dependent child, we should not submit this form right ? Just to get an understanding on why it is required ?

Hi Shafee, Initally when i submitted the application, i didnt provide the IMM 1283 form, later i got a notification from IRCC to submit the form, later on i have submitted it.

Hi Anant,

1. I have an another question, when you submit sponsorship for your child and you wife is living in India accompanying your child, do you have your wife co-signed your application in IMM 1344 ?
2. If you are not having her co-signed in IMM 1344, do you submit IMM 5604 form notarized or just provided Letter of explanation ?
