If everything seems 'OK' in everyone's medical file, it only takes a month or two to receive PPR. Judicial review cases usually get their PPR in 2 months.
Once you have sent your medicals, keep an eye on you ecase. As soon as it changes to "Medicals Received", that means your medicals have been OK'ed by the Central office and sent to Visa Office and everything is clear.
IF there is some concern in your medicals (usually you will get a hint if GP does some extra tests, if not then no problem) the Visa office will ask for some more tests, to exclude/or diagnose conditions etc etc etc. Just make sure you don't have HIV, HEP B or C ... or any other highly communicable disease like T.B etc.
But do remember that final decision will be taken before issuing PPR request, but it would only get rejected if something unusual would turn up, like sudden medical or security issue. So, I presume you will be fine. Therefore, Congrats in advance ... and you'll soon be getting maple leaf
