dependent child processing time!

hello everyone!
now finally i have mailed my daughter's PR application to CPC-mississauga..i just wanted to knw how long will it take to process her application..since she is 2 years old and so small and i am canadian citizen myself..does anyone have any idea?

No idea. I would hope the process would be faster for children...not cool to keep even a young child waiting!

1. Much faster, no background check (other checking parentage) no security check, minimal medical no blood work no x-rays.

its 26 months. I filled my daughter's sponsorship in June 2010, didn't get any reply unless I pursued with the local MP, after long wait they sent re-medical in august which was sent to the chc isb in same month. I pursued again with the local mp, now chc isb sent a letter on my mailing address in pakistan that under section 32(1)b my daughter is not eligible to be sponsored and asked more documents i.e. 2 yrs notice of assessment, bank statements, credit bill, utility bills, lease agreement, pay stubs, any other proof etc.

I don't know is this a normal...! after 22 months they sent this letter when I pursue with the local Mp

Sorry to hear about your troubles?
Did they explain why your daughter was not eligible? What does section 32(1) says.

oh really im that's very cruel but on what basis did dey reject your application?
OMG! im already so afraid dont know whats gonna happen.. thats a long wait!

i dont know but according to ppl chc isb are sending this kind of letter i am thinking to apply trv for my daughter if case could not be resolved i don't know the procedure and the time taken by the embassy. please advise me in this regard

Hi tahaiqbal, sorry that you had to wait so long before they give you such a disappointing answer.

I'm just thinking... from the list of documents that the VO asked for, it seems that they think you may not be able to support the whole family or something along those lines. Did you provide any income proof together with your application? It may worth clarifying with VO to get the exact reason (may be through your MP). If it's just needing some additional document then it may be an easy fix.

Just a thought for consideration.
