Hi All,

My parents are coming to visit me on visitor visa. Is it mandatory for them to have return ticket?
They have plan to stay at toronto for a month and it might get extended for 1 monre month. Thats the reason i am not planning to book return ticket.

Please advise.

Regards,
Vikas

1. The airlines may not allow them to board with one way tickets.

2. The CBSA officer at the POE could ask them to show proof of returning home.

3. It's cheaper to book return tickets instead of one way tickets

4. You can book return tickets that allow for a date change

You parents can try traveling with one way tickets. Do let us know if they're able to board the flights as TRV holders (not super visas).... and if one way tickets work out cheaper than return tickets
