DENTIST ( BDS) MOVIN TO CANADA

Hi,

My name is shyam from INDIA i am an engineer by profession with an experience of 8 years and my wife is a dentist( BDS) with 4 years of experience. we are thinking of migrating to CANADA and would like to know if a dentist with only BDS degree is allowed to work there or not. Appreciate if someone could help us on getting some information related to this.

She will not be able to work as a dentist when she arrives. She will need to go through a certification process in order to be able to work as a dentist in Canada.

Would also add that there is an oversupply of dentists in Canada that gets worse every year.
