I am a US citizen married to a Canadian, recently I tried entering Canada as a visitor with my spouse with the intention of applying for a visa from within the country. I was denied entry twice that day (I was given allowed to leave Canada forms to signed, I don't really understand the difference between that form or them just telling me no. They let me withdraw my application), due to the fact that the border officials did not think I had strong enough ties to the USA. Due to these complications, would it be best that we hire an immigration lawyer to help us with the process or would we still be able to fill out and submit the application without any trouble?
