Denied passport

Hi all
I applied for work permit threw an agent in india it as been stamped as DENIED in passport sheet.

So i kindly request u to assist me what to do n reson behind stamping denied .

It's impossible for any of us to say why you have been refused. You or your agent should have received a letter listing the reasons for refusal.

I spoke to my agent he says there no reason are any letter attached to passport from embassy .


Do they stamp denied on passport if embassy rejects the visa .

As far as I know, the immigration office does not stamp a Visa refusal in the passport. Please clarify what's written on the passport page.

So weired they request ur passport just to refuse it... how could that be?

He probably did not apply through their online website, but with paper application. In paper applications, the agency ask you to bring along your passport while applying, so that the visa process can be done quicker(they won't ask you to send your passport to them and this way it won't take days)

I've never heard of getting stamped after denial. I thought they only add a paper to state their rejection of your permit, but maybe this is what they do in India.
