Yes its not a crime to have a baby in USA. If you can prove that your visa was issued before your wife got pregnant, it does not amount to hiding the fact. Also you should've said you were holidaying instead of coming clean at the port of entry. This happened to a bunch of my friends where they asked if my friends wife and they said to have a better care/delivery they came.

They have a "Fake President". Pretty sure they would't mind you havin a baby apart from buying health insurance & all the good stuff.
