Does Canada share personal information about a person who tried to go in Canada and had his entrance denied because overstayed his visa in anouther country were this person worked for cash and said it to the immigation officer while was interrogate (the country were this person overstayed doesn t know about it probably, but just wondering if Canada share this information with other country or is protect by privacy as they say?thank you

One likely spinoff benefit of these databases is that they could help governments crack down on cheats who reap benefits that they are not entitled to. This includes foreigners who overstay short-term visas; fraudsters who pretend to be meeting immigration residency requirements while actually living overseas; and the “jobless” who collect employment insurance while working abroad

The person I m talkin about,didn t go to Canada from Usa.This person used a flight from Mexico for going to anouther country and stopped in Canada only for fly to anouther country.At interwiew with the officer,confessed overstayed his visa(not in Canada).But they said there is the privacy.Is the privacy share you are talkin about only for information about canadian and american or about anyone who fly to Canada?
