Hi,

I received a letter denying my application for Canadian residency due to me not having the correct information on my ROE as Bar Manager as I was going under the Skilled Workers application. I can get that information and signed statements saying that was an error on their part but can I submit this as there was nothing stated on my letter of denial.

This is a very sorry news. Have you contacted your MP?

You can request reconsideration if the VO makes an error. In this case the VO did not make an error, the determination was made on the basis of the information you provided.

You don't state what kind of error was on the ROE, or why you provided it (it's not a required document - take that back, it was requested at one time - and obviously harmful if it's incorrect).

I would say it's a grey area, but likely it will not succeed. You can ask (you can send a case-specific email to CPC-Ottawa) if you get it corrected, but you have to request reconsideration very soon after the refusal (week or two), so it depends a lot on how quickly you can get the ROE corrected. Even then, you're probably better off putting your efforts into a new application.

Sorry to know that. You can chalenged the decision in court but as you know it it cery time consuming prosses.
