Hello All,
We got our Visa stamped from New Delhi Canadian Embassy in Federal Skilled Worker on 16th June 2011
We have inform the embassy for the same in January that the applicant is on a family way.
My Wife is Principal applicant in the same, In the medicals received in April 2011 also our (DMO) Doctor has mentioned the same in medicals also that the applicant is in 6th Month
Now since we have the baby with us, Kindly advise/guide me for the further process of the same. The validity of our VISA expires on Feb 2012
We have time as of Now.
Kindly help/advise/guide. :'(
I need assistance as to how much time it will take to get our baby register (His passport Stamped) and his PR also in India , What is the procedure for the same.
Is it safe enough or do they reconsider the file etc.

Nagra ji first get the passport of the baby done ASAP and meawhile you will have to intimate CHC Delhi about the situation. It may take about 3-4 months after you submit all the documents etc.

You did your medicals in April 2011 as yourself says .... in that case did your wife do her chest x-ray while 6 months pregnant? Did the DMP advise you on this issue?

Re: Delivery of the Baby after getting PR Visa stamped (Seniors Plz help)

Our DMP has advised us to go for X-Ray's on your own risk.
We had gone through the X-Ray's with Double Shielding....
We had also sent a letter to Canadian High Commission on Jan 19th 2011 that our baby is expected in July's 1 st Week. :-\

Does this really means that our PR will got canceled?? because of Child????
I have sent a letter to High Commission yesterday mentioning complete details yesterday..... that we have already informed your office earlier.

Kindly help & update.

You have done the right thing by informing Delhi as any change in family composition has to be updated. Your PR does not get cancelled. Either you may have to send back your visa+copr and they will re-issue new ones along with the one for baby. Read the letter you got with your visas it should say something about change in composition of family etc and wait for instructions from Delhi. Yes there will be delays but nothing to worry about.
