You can certainly try but as far as I know, CIC local offices to not accept drop in visits any more. Still, this is more like if you courier something instead of mailing it and you are supposed to be able to do that.

Yes you can do it, they also give you a received stamped in a copy of your forwarding letter.

It is my understanding that all the in-person services of the CIC have been discontinued for some time. Simplyproductive please let us know if you have personal experience or knowledge of in-person drop offs.

I have never heard of the CIC giving someone an appointment to drop off their RQ documents.

For the record, I ended up FedExing my RQ, so I don't know whether you can drop it off in person or not...

Hi Guys,

I just dropped off my RQ and supporting documents this morning (October 22nd, 2013) and there was no problem. The lady stamped "Received" on the letter I received for taking the test about 40 days ago. I unfortunately got the RQ on the day of the test. I passed by test 20/20 but I guess they needed more information. Now the fun begins!
