Can someone please tell, if I deliver a baby in Canada on TRV status living with my husband in Canada who is permanent resident of Canada ?
What will be the baby's status and will I be eligible for health coverage as my husband is PR ?

Depends on the province. In many cases (e.g. Ontario) you won't be eligible for any health care coverage and will have to pay for all costs related to the delivery on your own.

The baby will be a Canadian citizen.

I'm not a 100% sure about other provinces but in SK, you'll be billed both baby's and mom's (you) hospital bills. But baby's will be paid for by the government since she/he is Canadian. A friend of mine on TRV had her baby as well, but after a few months both baby's and hers hospital billed were paid by the government, after a lot of phone calls (they said they talked to social services for help)....only the delivering doctor's fees remained. Her doctor still cost her $3000.

You'll have to pay and it's not cheap anywhere from 2000-10000+ depending on the birth. The child will be Canadian but your not. Everyday you spend in the hospital can be $200-$600. Also you don't get Canadian citizenship but your child could sponsor you in 18 years but the sponsorship times are long.

Wrong. Canada grants citizenship by jus soli to all children born in Canada. The exception to this is if neither parent is a Canadian citizen/PR and one or both parents are working in Canada for a foreign government.

No such rule exists. Baby will be a citizen unless the parents are diplomats.
