Delayed study permits for minors

Hello all,

I am an essential worker with approved workpermit, however, my little kids study permits and my spouse visitor visa are still on process for the past 27 weeks. Did any one apply from Saudi Arabia for a study or visitor visa and got approved recently?

Is this delay normal?

we sent several web forms and the answer is always: under processing/ under review.

Is there any thing I can do?

My Study permit hasn't been approved since the 13th of July up to this very day....But i believe before this month ends i would be hearing Good news about my application

They will also need special permission to enter Canada after their approval.
