Delayed Application because of Covid19 Visa Expiry

Hi Everyone i need to know since there is a delay in processing for PR because of the Covid 19 what if the applicants initial visa gets expired will that be a problem or will they hold the final interview before the expiry date ? Thank you.

Visas only allow you to enter Canada so that doesn’t impact. Is this asylum application in Canada? What initial visa?

Hi yes it is for Refugee status. Sorry its not the visa its actually the "Permit - WP-EXT / Permis - PT-PROR" from IRCC once its validity expires ( After 2 years ) do i have to apply or Renew the same Work Permit ? and since my PR case is ongoing and waiting for my final interview do i require visa with a specific time frame to stay in canada ?

Great...So then since i have Temporary Resident until i receive my PR it does not affect my stay correct ?
